This is our 2nd car from Imperial, so much more technical than our first car. We’ve had a few teething issues I must admit but Steve our salesman is on the ball and the car is being looked after at a nearby Landrover specialist repair.

This after sales is what makes a dealer, genuine apologies and the offer of a quality loan car (Porsche) speaks volumes that this isn’t an issue and that they want the customer happy.

I could have written derogatory comments but they’re not warranted, Steve has bent over backwards to get this sorted and I know she’s in safe hands and can’t wait to get it back and it’ll be like a new car all over again.

Today I purchased my new used car from the imperial motor company, I couldn’t be happier with the service I have received throughout the buying process. We purchased a superb Mini Cooper convertible from Imperial last Saturday and were very impressed indeed with the service, attitude and attention to detail shown by Patricia. Initially we test drove a diesel which showed us that a Mini was definitely right for us. I told Patricia that ideally we would prefer to purchase a petrol model, and even though there wasn’t one in stock, she said that Kevin would see if they could buy one into stock that may be suitable. Later the same day Patricia rang to say that they had one in mind and that we could come and test drive it when it was ready. We did so, and decided there and then that it was perfect for us. We aren’t local to Hastings, but the whole set up of the place is extremely professional, in no way high pressure selling, and we wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from Imperial Motors again. They also gave us a very fair trade in on our Peugeot, and Patricia completed all the paperwork. Great service

I’ve just purchased my used car from Imperial Motor Company LTD and I LOVE it!! I had a lot of questions prior to going ahead with my deal but Patricia was amazing! She was so patient with me and answered every single question I had and met me on the day of collection to complete the documentation and hand over the keys. March 2023 purchased mini cooper s convertible, Curtis very friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately the car developed fault after fault and was returned for repairs 4 times. The guys at imperial were very helpful, provided a courtesy car as we lived some distance away. The 4th time the car was out of warranty but they still took it in(infact came to collect it) but we decided to return it as was not practical to keep. Imperial were very understanding of the situation and gave us a full refund. Would use again in the future if we didn’t live so far away.

I purchased a BMW 1series from Imperial motors on 2nd August 2021, I have to say that I am very pleased with the car, and in particular the manner in which Harry attended to our questions, there was no pressure to buy and I was simply handed the keys to two cars to test drive, on return all question and requests were answered and a delivery date agreed. On collection all that had been agreed on had been completed. Harry was also able to guide me through registration and also to tax the car. Imperial Motors are a credit to the Car Sales Market. I would also say that this is the second car purchased from them, with similar experience.

Amazing experience. Amazing people. I was looking to buy a car for my father and called the company on a Saturday through autotrader. Spoke to Kevin. Next day we went to test drive the car and decided to buy it there and then to drive it back to London. Peter, a wonderful person, helped us around. We took the car for a test drive while Peter completed the paperwork for part exchange. We drove our new car back to London. Next day the engine wont crank. We called RAC and found that the battery was dead. RAC being RAC charged for their services and put a new battery in the car. We spoke to Steve of Imperial Motor Company. Steve asked for bill given by RAC and our account details. No questions asked at all and the money for the replacement battery was sitting in our account. Machinery can break down anytime but the way trio of Kevin, Peter and Steve dealt with us was far far far better than any customer services standards. Businesses should learn from them. Collected our 2011 Golf Gti on Thursday and the clutch went on Saturday morning (nobody could have known) . The car was picked up that day. We were then called later that day by Steve and told a new clutch was being fitted as soon as possible and we have just collected the car today, Monday !!

We recently purchase our VW Caravelle from Imperial Motor Company and must say a massive thank you to Steve and Kevin for all of their help. We live a long way away and so were apprehensive at making such a large purchase over the internet. The description on the internet was very thorough and a more than fair description of the vehicle. If anything the vehicle was undersold, we are so impressed with it.

Steve was always on hand to answer any questions we had, and sent down many more photos as we requested very promptly. They kept us completely informed about the deal at all stages, doing the MOT test and service before pick up and were on hand to pick me up in the vehicle at the train station. They were most helpful on arrival and explained everything on the car to me, but also left me enough space to go over the vehicle myself. All of the paperwork had been filled in as much as it could be ready to make the deal go through as efficiently as it could.

It doesn’t matter what your budget imperial will have a car for you, I’ve never brought a car so easily, hassle free and the staff are great, no pressure and the service is fantastic I can’t thank them enough.

We bought a car from Steve in December and can’t rate Imperial highly enough. We live a fair distance away and have had a (very small) glitch with the car which Steve has bent over backwards to resolve, liasing with a local dealer in order to pay them directly taking any stress off my shoulders which I really appreciate seeing as I have just had a baby.
Buying a new car in our house can be quite stressful as we are not “car people” so it really is a game of roulette for us, however I wouldn’t hesitate to make the journey and buy from these guys again. 5*

I can highly recommend Imperial Motor company after amazing service from them last May. I had a particular and fairly rare vehicle in mind and after many viewings elsewhere of low quality vehicles mis advertised I turned to Imperial car sales after seing an advert on AutoTrader. I have owned over 40 cars previously 80% private sale and 20% from vehicle sales. I have never reviewed or recommended a car garage before until now.

The website is great to navigate, accurate listed vehicles with honest descriptions and great photos.

The premises has so much to offer of all size, range, brand and price of vehicle, and it wouldn’t be hard to find what you are looking for here or something better you’d never considered.

My viewing was relaxed and very pleasant and for the first time in my experience there was NO hard selling involved. Gary is a great guy and enjoyed meeting him. I was able to take as much time as I wished on my own to view the car, test drive the car and see all paper work before making my own decision.

My vehicle was serviced, valet and MOT before collecting. I have owned the vehicle for just under 1 year and will keep for many more. I did have an issue with 1 key but the communication was excellent and key was replaced at my house ASAP.

Superb service all round from vehicle purchase to aftersales. No hard sell, just genuine assistance in finding the right car for your requirements. This company gives 2nd hand car companies a great name. If all companies were run like this they would great places to visit without feeling like you need to clean the slim off after meeting the sales people. Recently purchased a lovely Mini Cooper SD Coupe from Imperial Motors and in the process part exchanged my Audi. From the start, staff were very helpful in letting me look at the cars at my leisure, no pressure. On deciding on the car, an offer was made for my Audi that was in line with online car buyers so I accepted, and the deal was done. Before I collected the car, it was checked over and MOT’d all within a few days. Collection of the vehicle again, couldn’t have been more pleasurable, all happened very smoothly and quickly. A few days later, I realised that I had left my company phone in my old car. Even though the car wasn’t at the garage, they went and found my phone, sending it back the same day.. I could not ask for better service. I can whole heartedly recommend these guys for purchasing your next car…

Customer service here is faultless! I bought a BMW from here and the process was so easy and stress free. Gary went the extra mile every step of the way. When viewing the car my dad noticed a scratch on the drivers side window so they replaced the whole window before purchase, aswell as removing a pin dent that we didn’t even notice and a few other little things.. all at no extra cost! They even lent us a car (with out us asking) while the work was done!! The atmosphere here is a no pressure one and you really feel that you are buying a car rather than being sold one! They were so accommodating! I would defo recommend to any one.

Bought a smashing looking mini ONE a year and a half ago, great service, well informed and cared for. They made our private plates with imperial motors on bottom which look great. always look on their site, not saying theyre the cheapest but quality comes first and were happy.
